Uniqueness of Einstein Metrics

The project will study the uniqueness of Einstein manifolds that admit cohomogeneity one symmetries. We aim to produce new uniqueness results for some simple cohomogeneity one symmetries through phase plane analysis and the application of various maximum principles.

Patrick Donovan is a second-year student studying mathematics at UQ. His study focuses have mostly involved analysis with interests in differential geometry and functional analysis.
