Dan Tran

Dang Khuong (Dan) Tran is a third-year undergraduate student in the School of Mathematical Sciences at QUT, pursuing a double degree in Applied and Computational Mathematics and Computer Science. He is the recipient of QUT’s Vacation Research Experience Scheme scholarship in 2021 allowed Dan to engage in research on the application of Bayesian statistics in other fields. Upon completion of his previous research and study in applied Machine Learning, Dan is looking forward to the use of machine learning to enhance statistical models. By participating in multiple research opportunities before graduation, Dan looks forward to pursuing further research degrees and progress toward a research career.
